NieR: Automata has gone Gold
Nier: Automata has reached the Gold stage, which has been confirmed by the producer Yosuke Saito of Square Enix. That means it’s finished and ready for distribution. The title will launch on March 10 on PlayStation 4, while on PC it will arrive later.
Yosuke Saito announced that Nier Automata has entered Gold phase, this means that development of the game has officially ended and the publisher is now preparing to print and send copies of the game to retailers ahead of the launch.
In fact, the game was long over. Saito reveals on Twitter, the announcement has now been made because it says that this type of message is fashionable, as recently Guerrilla Games published its Horizon: Zero Dawn.
Nier: Automata will have several alternative endings and more than 20 hours. It combines role and adventure and is set in a land devastated by intense fighting taking place between android Yorha units, created by humans, against a number of biomechanical alien beings forcing humanity to leave Earth and flee to the moon.
Nier Automata will be released in Japan on February 23 and will arrive in Europe on March 10th. The dates indicated refer to the version for PlayStation 4, the PC edition is expected (exclusively on Steam) during 2017. Also remember that a demo of the game is now available for free download from the PlayStation Store.
