Crytek has recently released a new gameplay video of The Climb, which has the distinction of being controlled at 360 degrees for viewing graphics rendering with the graphics engine of CryEngine.

THE CLIMB Game in 360 Degree View

Under development in the local Crytek, The Climb is a game designed for virtual reality. Indeed, the game’s gameplay is based on climbing subjective view, promising a beautiful immersion with the headset of Oculus Rift.

To make us drool, the development studio has released a new trailer of the game, with a little less than two minutes allowing once again admiring the work of reconstruction carried out by the teams of Crytek. Small specificity, however, this new gameplay video uses technology of YouTube 360° videos, thereby sweeping view of the entire landscape created for the occasion.

The opportunity to discover the 100km from virtual space is created for the occasion, like points of interest incorporated by Crytek (the lake, the castle, the cable car, etc.), and enjoying the feeling of dizziness provided by the height.

Note that the remote display of the Alps is really good, providing some photorealism. For now, The Climb has no specific release date, but its launch will be exclusive to PC.
