New Call of Duty Figures Will Be Launched By McFarlane Toys
After closing 2017 with excellent results thanks to the great sales performance of Call of Duty: WWII, the series returned to positive inertia and now there is a talk of a new release, in the hands of Treyarch, concrete plans for a film and it was announced that new figures will arrive this year.
The company McFarlane Toys, specialized in toys, figures and founded by Todd McFarlane in 1994, has not been alien to the field of video games and in previous occasions has delivered pieces inspired by characters from Destiny, Gears of War and Mass Effect.
On this occasion, a new franchise will have the honor of having a couple of figures created by the company and this is Call of Duty, the popular series of Activision. Specifically, McFarlane Toys will release a figure of John “Soap” MacTavish and one of Simon “Ghost” Riley, both characters from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare that, despite being a game in the first person, stood out in the story that gave life to the campaign of the 3 titles.
The figures will have a height of 18 centimeters and judging from the first revealed images, they do not have any type of articulation, a detail that was considered negative by the fans. However, they have great attention to detail and will be presented for the first time at the Toy Fair 2018, which will be held from February 17 to 20 in New York.
It is expected that the event will reveal the price that the figures will have, which rumors indicate will be $20 USD per figure, and confirm its release date, scheduled for fall of this year.
