Telltale Games announced June 7 as the release date of the sixth episode of Minecraft: Story Mode – titled ‘A Portal to Mystery’. The studio also revealed that six Minecraft real-life celebrities will appear during episodic adventure in block format.
Minecraft: Story Mode, the game of Telltale Games (The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones) located in the world of Minecraft, will cast in its sixth episode, A Portal to Mystery, which arrives on June 7. Telltale announced three extra episodes after the end of the season, in March, of which the Episode 6 is the first.
‘A Portal to Mystery’ will feature the hero Jesse and his friends, thrown into a mysterious story in a world infested with zombies, where you will find yourself trapped in a mansion with six new characters of the family.
Members of actual Minecraft community will embody their online personas as Stampy Cat (Joseph Garrett), Stacy Plays (Stacy Hinojosa), DanTDM (Dan Middleton), LDShadowLady (Lizzie Dwyer), and CaptainSparklez (Jordan Maron).
To access Episodes 6,7 and 8 players must have purchased at least Episode 1 – after that you can buy the Adventure Pass (which includes the three) for $14.99, or individual episodes for $4.99 (or regional equivalent).
