Microsoft partners with The Chainsmokers to offer custom Xbox One S that lights up
The custom designs of the console can range from users or personalities from diverse worlds supported directly by large companies. Microsoft has taken a step forward in the second field collaborating with the deejays of The Chainsmokers and Xbox One S.
Microsoft and the Xbox division will not stop surprising us. The great American company has joined forces with one of the musical groups of the moment, The Chainsmokers. Both have teamed up to bring us a special edition of Xbox One S that lights up with all sorts of color.
This is part of a larger initiative that Microsoft will allow to create custom Xbox One S consoles with different “celebrities and brands.”
The music producers Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall have been in charge of creating their own design of the console of Microsoft in a cross action with the company of Redmond with a very particular style.
The Xbox One S console from Chainsmokers uses a small processor powered by a USB that turns the sound into a transforming light show. There are 60 pixels in total that light up and they also create what Microsoft says is a 3D effect.
The deejays have introduced a special illumination light that reacts to the sound being emitted and presents different shades. The system has its own processor to perform this task and works as you can see in the video shown below at the end of this article.
“We partnered with Xbox to create this this amazing Xbox One S console. Tell us in a Tweet why you love it so much to win,” the music producers said.
The console, rated by Microsoft as “piece of art”, has been produced in a limited way and is being raffled on Twitter.
