Microsoft has announced the arrival of three new games of Xbox 360 backward compatible with the Xbox One. Are they those that you expected?
For several months, Microsoft has brought the backward compatibility of the Xbox One with games from the Xbox 360. However, the entire catalog of the old generation of console from the manufacturer is not yet fully compatible.
Larry Hryb (aka Major Nelson) now lists all Xbox 360 games playable on Xbox One at this address. With a little over 100 playable titles, we learn that three new games have been newly added.
This happens to be the first Assassin’s Creed, then GRID 2 and lastly Dark Void. It is therefore now possible to insert these games in the Xbox One (or launch their digital version) to enjoy the title with a slightly improved visual rendering.
Thus, the growing selection of Microsoft surpasses the mark of 140 titles. Initially, there were 104 available titles, including Beyond Good & Evil and all games of the Gears of War franchise. Halo Wars is still available only to members of Xbox One Preview program.
This is certainly good news for all old gamers, but the question that echoes the web remains the same: what happened to Red Dead Redempion?
