MGS V: The Phantom Pain Patch 1.03 to fix Save Data bug download available now on PC and PS4
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain was having an issue with save data bug on PC and gaming consoles. Finally on Twitter the developer has announced that they will be providing a fix for this issue with a new update.
The developers have released Patch 1.03 already on PC and PS4 which corrects the save data corruption bug. You can read the official tweet below. This save data bug causes players to lose the amount of missions they had completed in MGS V: The Phantom Pain and start the game from Prologue. If you are having same issue on your PC then there is a tiny fix that can help. Click here to view the video.

For pc there is a solution but for consoles it is not easy. The update is already provided for PS4 and PC but with an update for Xbox One is still pending. Below are the patch logs. The patch version is 1.03. With the save data fix the patch also resolves some in-game bugs. Just checkout your Steam game library and install the patch to fix the issues. - Fixed an issue where under specific conditions, the game halts progression in the black screens displayed after clearing Mission 29 and Mission 42.
- Fixed the issue where once the prior issue is triggered, the save data goes directly to the black screen and game progression is halted.
- Fixed the issue where using the selection controls during the tutorial when first buying an FOB the game halted progression.
