After few months of waiting, tonight, during The Game Awards 2017, 4A Games and THQ showed an incredible new trailer of Metro Exodus, revealing that the game will be available in the fall of 2018.
Something that fans will appreciate is that the studio showed new gameplay, which lets us know how the game will look like when it becomes available. Recall that at E3 2017 the first preview of Metro Exodus was revealed, although we later found it running on Xbox One X.
The most interesting thing about this breakthrough is that it shows familiar aspects for fans of the series. We can see Russia covered in snow, deadly creatures and much more.
The history of Metro Exodus will take place in 2036, 2 years after Metro: Last Light. Once again it will be possible to take on the role of Artyom, who for this adventure seems to have the mission to escape from Moscow.
The first person action game will combine survival horror and great scenarios, while we make an epic journey through a post-apocalyptic Russia. The storyline of the adventure is again inspired by the novels of Dmitry Glukhovsky and will combine action with stealth, exploration and a strong narrative. Its atmosphere is again as oppressive as in Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light.
Metro Exodus will debut at the end of 2018 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Check the new trailer for the game below:
