Mass Effect Andromeda first multiplayer mode image revealed
Fernando Melo of BioWare has posted on Twitter the very first screenshots taken from the multiplayer mode of Mass Effect Andromeda: the image shows the character selection screen and also reveals the presence of races of Turian, Salarians, Asari and Krogan.
There are no other details about the multiplayer segment of Mass Effect Andromeda though, the anticipated multiplayer beta was canceled without apparent explanation, BioWare has confirmed, however, that the various multiplayer modes will be shown during PAX East in Boston, scheduled for 10-12 March.
A controversial decision, which could mean several things: a blind trust in the quality of the multiplayer in Mass Effect: Andromeda, or it is useless to invest in the additional resources.
The multiplayer will be playable at PAX East 2017, but the beta (announced this fall) was canceled. This is because now, according to BioWare, we are very near to the launch of the game, that will be due out on March 21, 2017 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
After this decision, BioWare has apologized to fans. Via Twitter, the producer Fernando Melo said he was sorry for this cancellation. Then the producer confirmed a novelty that can cheer some fans of the Mass Effect franchise: it will be possible to play with aliens in Andromeda’s multiplayer.
Meanwhile, we’ll get some more MP info out – let’s get the ball rolling… see you all soon in Andromeda! 4/4 pic.twitter.com/FuhGpuat9f
