Mass Effect: Andromeda download size revealed, preload available now
As reported by some players on Twitter, Electronic Arts has opened the preload of Mass Effect Andromeda on Twitter platforms. All those who have carried out the pre-order can then proceed with the download of the game.
Next week Mass Effect: Andromeda will be released in the market and thanks to some Twitter users the size of the game in the digital editions was discovered. Be prepared for a long download of this game on your consoles and PC.
The file size of the game weighs 42.19 GB on Xbox One and 42.9 GB on PlayStation 4, while on PC it will require approximately 55 GB of free space to install, not to mention the additional 2 GB required for the day-one patch.
Also new details emerge on the multiplayer segment of the game: at launch five maps will be available, or Firebase Sandstorm, Firebase Zero, Firebase Icebreaker, Firebase Magma and Firebase Derelict, with the option to select as many as 25 characters created specifically for the multiplayer. New maps will be distributed in the future through free DLC, as already confirmed by BioWare.
BioWare has confirmed that Mass Effect: Andromeda will include 1200 people, more than they contained in the first three chapters put together. The actress Natalie Dormer has confirmed her presence in the game in the role of voice actress.
Mass Effect: Andromeda will release in the US on March 21 and in Europe on March 23.
