Man of Medan Features Co-op and Online Multiplayer Modes, New Trailer Released

Man of Medan is the first horror game in The Dark Pictures Anthology. Through these features, players will be able to share their adventures with friends. Both Man of Medan and subsequent chapters will contain two multiplayer modes, in addition to the single campaign.

To start, there will be the Shared Story Mode that allows you to play co-op online with another person. Both players can explore game environments, making their own choices and acting as they see fit, thus influencing the story and destiny of the characters. Some stages of the game change and new information, places and horrors can be discovered.

Then we have the Movie Night Mode, designed for the local game. With just one controller you can play with friends (four at the most). Each person interprets one of the characters and makes their own choices. At the end of the game, each player is evaluated according to the actions taken.

“We’ve announced two multiplayer modes for The Dark Pictures Anthology — Shared Story mode and Movie Night mode. In Shared Story you’ll play online with a friend, making choices that affect both of you. We really hope you enjoy the intensity of experiencing the story with a friend… and that you are still friends after,” says Pete Samuels, executive producer and director of The Dark Pictures Anthology series in Supermassive Games.

We remind you that Man of Medan will be available starting August 30, 2019 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One. Tell us, what do you think of these multiplayer modes? Do you find them interesting?
