Mad Max Game Crash, Black Screen Issue –

The problem is directly related to graphics driver. Nvidia has released a Mad Max optimized driver that you have to install in your system. You can download the drivers from below link. If you are using AMD graphics card then you have to use the second link below. It will offer AMD auto detect drivers. It will find the best driver and install it automatically for better output.

The second way to resolve the issue is by verifying game cache. That can be done through Steam. For that you have to first turn off and then turn on Steam. You have to go in the Game Library and there you have to right click on the Mad Max game icon and choose Properties. Search and click on Verify Integrity of game cache and after the process is completed then try to play the game back. Try playing the game by turning off V-Sync.

Some the game controller will not work. This might occur with Xbox 360 controller or any other controller. To resolve the issue you have to simply uninstall the game controller and then install its latest driver. For that go in Device Manager and right click on Human Interface Devices. Uninstall the same or disable HID-Complaint Game controller. Then reboot and try playing the game back again.
