Life is Strange: Before the Storm will arrive in August of this year, and for the first time we will be able to play with Chloe and know her past, because it will be a prequel of the first title. Another change is that Deck Nine is in charge of the project and this time the title will last less than the story of Max.

During an interview, the development team mentioned that Before the Storm will last between 6 to 9 hours, depending on the player, with a time of 2 or 3 hours per episode. As fans remember, during the Microsoft conference we learned that this season will only have 3 chapters.

Also Square Enix has revealed that the game was built entirely with a new game engine called StoryForge. This engine was created exclusively for Before the Storm, everything to avoid all the graphic problems of the original title.

On the other hand, there is news for the fans of Max. The company has announced Life is Strange: Before the Storm Deluxe Edition, $24.99 USD package that will give access to an additional episode called “Goodbye”, where players can play with Max Caulfield. In addition, this chapter will allow you to mix the music to create a playlist that accompanies the cinematic scenes of the game. There will be also a pack of 3 exclusive outfits to change Chloe’s style. You should keep in mind that this chapter will come after Before the Storm.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on August 31.
