Legend of Zelda Wii U Postponed to 2017, also coming to NX
In the context of recent financial report from Nintendo, it is confirmed that the next installment of Legend of Zelda Wii U is also expected to land on Nintendo NX. The release date is also been postponed to next year.
After in talks for a few years now, the next Legend of Zelda is due for release on Wii U. Originally scheduled for launch in 2015, the title of Eiji Aonuma was eventually postponed to this current year. However, the Japanese publisher has planned for use to wait again for a new time.
Indeed, the financial report of the Kyoto Company said that the new Zelda will be finally released in 2017, worldwide.
At the same time, what players were considering was confirmed: the title is also announced on Nintendo NX. To explain this further delay, the publisher said that the deadline is set to “improve the quality” of the game.
It is noted that both versions of the game will be marketed simultaneously, as was the case a few years ago with Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess on GameCube and Wii.
Nintendo has also confirmed that their new console codenamed “NX” will appear globally in March 2017 without elaborating much on the new console. You can clearly check that in the financial reports link given above.
