LA Noire for Switch will run at 1080p in TV Mode and 720p in Portable Mode
LA Noire was one of the best police games of the last generation in which we got into the skin of Cole Phelps following him for his career in Los Angeles police, starting with being a rookie and later climbing positions as he goes resolving cases.
The title appeared in 2011 for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, leaving aside the then console of Nintendo for the lack of power that the console of the Japanese company had then. But with Switch everything is different, and major companies are showing their support for the new Nintendo console, in fact, Rockstar will publish the title we are talking about for the current console, and will also include downloadable content that lengthens the detective’s story and some extras as well.
Take-Two today shared a press release announcing that LA Noire would be released on December 7 in Japan, a few weeks after Europe and North America. However, this note includes an interesting detail about the game.
And it is that this same press release also shares details that the title will run at 1080p in television mode and 720p in portable and desktop mode. No details about frame rate have been offered yet, though it is expected to be 30fps.
It has also been confirmed that the game costs 4,990 yen in Japan, which is the same price as the PlayStation 4 version. This shows that in this territory this title will not be more expensive on Nintendo Switch.
LA Noire will release (again) on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and HTC Vive on November 14th.
