While Koei Tecmo decided to launch Arslan: The Warriors of Legend and Attack on Titan for Xbox One in the West, it seems that the company does not plan to repeat this movement with Berserk and the Band of the Hawk, a situation that will surely disappoint some fans.
Although the Xbox One is not among the preferences of consumers in Japan, that has not stopped companies like Koei Tecmo to release several of their games for the console of Microsoft in the West; Arslan: The Warriors of Legend and Attack on Titan are some examples. During a conversation with DualShockers, the producer Hisashi Koinuma said the company has no plans to launch Berserk and the Band of the Hawk for Xbox One in the West. As you recall, in these situations the developers leave open the possibility that in some degree of Japan the game will debut on Xbox One, but it seems that this will not be the occasion.
As Arslan: The Warriors of Legend and Attack on Titan, Berserk and the Band of the Hawk is developed by Omega Force, responsible for the series of Dynasty Warriors. In addition, the studio presented Musou Stars in Tokyo Game Show 2016, a a game that brings together characters from Koei Tecmo games.
Today, Koei Tecmo announced that Berserk and the Band of the Hawk will debut in America on February 21, 2017, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Steam. Moreover, the game will be released on October 27 in Japan.
