Jade Raymond of Google Stadia Previews Death Stranding, Calls It A “Masterpiece”

Jade Raymond, head of Stadia Games and Entertainment, met with Hideo Kojima in the development studios of Kojima Productions. On her official Twitter account, she has mentioned that she was allowed to preview Death Stranding.

It could be a simple visit, one of the many that have involved the main exponents of the video game and entertainment industry since the software house of the legendary Japanese game designer was founded in 2015, but there are already those who are speculating that the two discussed the possible debut of Death Stranding on Google Stadia.

The new game from the author of Metal Gear will be available from November 8 only on PlayStation 4, but it is not a secret that the partnership with Sony does not include total exclusivity: since the announcement Kojima and his collaborators have emphasized that their first independent project would come first on PS4 and then on other platforms. The absence of the typical wording “Only on PlayStation” on the cover of the game is further confirmation in this sense.

As for the multiplatform nature of Death Stranding, it was always assumed that the game could debut on the PC platform, but after the statements of Kojima on cloud gaming, streaming and Raymond’s visit, the Google Stadia release seems at least possible.
