Hitman Sniper Assassin Rated in Korea for PS4, Xbox One and PC
After the Australian rating recorded last February, the mysterious Hitman Sniper Assassin was also rated in Korea for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. IO Interactive seems to be preparing to announce a new title in the series, or maybe a spin-off.
According to reports in the last hours, Hitman Sniper Assassin has also been rated in Korea for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, suggesting the arrival of a new game dedicated to the series.
The title suggests a possible correlation with two games dedicated to Agent 47: we are talking about Hitman Sniper, a mobile title released in 2015 for iOS and Android devices, and Hitman Sniper Challenge, a spin-off released in 2012 on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 to promote the launch of Hitman Absolution.
Considering that the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms have been reported on the Korean rating board, however, this Hitman Sniper Assassin may be on the same lines as the Hitman Sniper Challenge, perhaps leading the way to a new title in the series. Meanwhile, we remind you that in mid-May Hitman Definitive Edition will make its debut.
Hitman is now a saga owned by IO Interactive, a developer that has been independent since last year when Hitman’s future was left in the air momentarily.
What can we expect from the future of the series? Surely we could learn more at the upcoming E3 2018 in Los Angeles. Whether it’s just a game for iOS and Android? At the moment we cannot help but wait for an official announcement from the Danish developers, we will update you as soon as we get new information.
