Half-Life 2, Portal and Left 4 Dead 2 and More Get 4K Enhancements on Xbox One X
Every owner of an Xbox One X wants its brand new and powerful console to take advantage of its features so that all kinds of games look better. This is why many will be happy to know that, from today, some Valve classics for Xbox 360 will be enhanced to this hardware.
According to the official announcement, starting today, Half-Life 2: The Orange Box, Portal, Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 are part of the Xbox One X Enhanced list. This means that they will take advantage of the power of the Xbox One X to run at a better resolution and higher pixel count. In this way, the platform became the best way to play them on consoles.
Unfortunately, Microsoft did not share a comparison video to give us an idea of the differences. The good thing is that it is a matter of time for someone to upload a video showing the improvements.
It is important to note that these are not the first games for Xbox 360 that will take advantage of the power of Xbox One X. In fact, you can enjoy titles like Gears of War 3, Halo 3, Assassin’s Creed, Red Dead Redemption, Darksiders and Portal 2 with visual improvements on the latest Xbox hardware.
In other news, it was recently revealed that the main titles of the Crysis saga can now be played on Xbox One thanks to the backward compatibility. On the other hand, you should know that Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty can also be enjoyed on the current generation console.
Starting today, four more Xbox One Backward Compatibility titles will be enhanced for Xbox One X. Enjoy playing Half-Life 2: The Orange Box, Portal: Still Alive, Left 4 Dead, and Left 4 Dead 2 with enhanced visuals and higher resolutions on Xbox One X https://t.co/7q7myPS0gC pic.twitter.com/bdUjeDvnhG
