GTA 6 Could Feature Biggest Map In The Series, Former Rockstar Executive Suggests

While the official announcement of Grand Theft Auto 6 by Rockstar Games and Take-Two is still to come, a British news site speculates about how big the map of GTA 6 will be.

The corresponding article on the homepage refers to statements by the former president of Rockstar North and Grand Theft auto producer Leslie Benzies, who had already commented on this in 2012 in the context of an interview.

Possibly the statements and wishes regarding a game world with all previous GTA cities of Leslie Benzies from the year 2012 in Grand Theft Auto 6 are used. The UK news site DreamTeam speculates this within a recent message. Accordingly, Benzies, the former President of Rockstar North, said in an interview with Digital Trends in the year in question, in what form one wishes for a possible Open World in one of the next parts of Grand Theft Auto or in another game:

“Of course at some point we would like to have one big world containing all our cities and let the player fly between them and revisit their favourite areas. In that context, re-imaging Vice City would be very interesting. We don’t know what GTA 6 will be, but we’ve got some ideas,” says Leslie Benzies in 2012.

Whether the speculation of the British news site true, it remains to be seen. However, we doubt it rather because the comments of Benzies were made a very long time ago. But maybe Rockstar Games will take up the concept for GTA 6 again with all the previous scenes of the action game series. No matter how it comes, we will keep you updated with more information in the future.
