Google Pixel 4 Smartphone Features Motion Sensing Pokemon Wallpapers (Preview)
As you will remember, Google and The Pokemon Company have recently partnered to create a Soli / Motion Sense demo for Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL. It is a curious application whose objective is to discover precisely the functions of gestures in Pixel 4. Today we get news about it.
In a press event that took place this past dawn in Japan, Google has shared that Pixel 4 users will be able to configure these interactive Pokemon as their mobile wallpapers. There will also be a dedicated app for players to have fun with the Pokémon.
Finally, we have learned that Google is planning to launch this Pokemon application, known as Pokemon Wave Hello, separately in 2020, at least in Japan. However, for now, it has not been officially approved and it is unknown if it will reach the West.
Meanwhile, we leave you with a couple of videos shared below:

Apparently, the demo allows us to discover this mechanism with five different Pokémon: Pikachu, Scorbunny, Sobble, Grookey and Eevee. It is based on a training process, then you can choose one of those Pokémon and finally play with them. It is not a very long demo, but it makes clear the basics of this gesture control.
It is certainly an excellent collaboration that also serves to promote the launch of Pokémon Sword and Shield. As for its availability, it has not been confirmed whether it will be released openly for Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL in the Play Store, so we will be attentive to more details.
