Ghost of Tsushima: Hiring Continues for Senior Gameplay Animator
The year’s pass and Ghost of Tsushima still remains without the official release date. Meanwhile, Sucker Punch is looking for more developers.
If you belong to the group of PlayStation 4 console enthusiasts, probably many of you expected that after a comprehensive presentation of the game at E3 2018, Ghost of Tsushima will hit the market any day. Meanwhile, in the light of the latest rumors and official reports, everything indicates that the work of the Sucker Punch studio will be the last exclusive title of Sony for the current generation of consoles. The game consistently bypasses all industry events and presentations, while the creators are arming themselves with more developers.
A few months ago, we mentioned the engagement for the writer who was to take care of the development of the Ghost of Tsushima storyline, and now Sucker Punch has put up a job offer for the Senior Gameplay Animator. This one would deal with creating convincing figures that a protagonist may encounter in feudal Japan. Of course, among the main responsibilities, we find a set of refined animations abounding in various movements and actions. Thus, we can assume that several more months will pass before the creators decide to combine everything into a coherent, and test and prepare for the market premiere.
Recall that of the three most-anticipated games on PlayStation 4 – Death Stranding, The Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima, only the work of Kojima Productions has an official release date – scheduled for November 8. According to the rumors online, The Last of Us Part II should debut in the first quarter of 2020.
So when will the work of Sucker Punch be released? It’s difficult to get a shot, but the second half of 2020 seems real. What do you think? Tell us in the comments below.
