Gears of War 3, Skate 3 & Mirror’s Edge Will Be Enhanced for Xbox One X
Recently, the director of Xbox Live programming Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb announced that more Xbox 360 games will take advantage of the power of Xbox One X to give them some visual improvements.
In late October, Microsoft revealed that Halo 3, Fallout 3, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Assassin’s Creed, all Xbox 360 games, will have updates for Xbox One X. Now, we know that Gears of War 3, Mirror’s Edge and Skate 3 will go through the same treatment.
Thanks to the fact that these games are backward compatible, it is possible that the studios will make improvements to make them look better. There is still no date for the release of the updates, but it is very possible that they will be available this week, as Xbox One X will debut today on November 7th.
Remember that Xbox One X will cost $499 USD and will be “the most powerful console in the world”, since it includes 6 TFLOPs, 12GB of GDDR5 RAM and other elements that allow you to run games at 4K or improve loading times.
