Firewatch debuted in February this year for PlayStation 4 and PC in digital format. However, there is a good news for lovers of physical format, as Campo Santo, the studio commissioned for this indie game, announced that it will launch a limited edition disc for the Sony console.
Decidedly Firewatch was a visibly unexpected success for a game of this caliber, as the studio has just decided to leave us with a physical edition of the title as announced on the official Twitter account of Campo Santo.
So recently, Campo Santo used Twitter to give the good news to his followers, especially those who play PlayStation 4. Currently there are no precise launch date, but we know that physical version of Firewatch will arrive before the end this year. The limit of the copy was not announced.
Also, the indie studio mentioned that this version will be available through Limited Run Games, although at the moment they are not open preorders, nor do we know how much it costs for the physical version of Firewatch.
Recently, Campo Santo launched Firewatch on Xbox One, a version which featured free scan mode, it is now available for PlayStation 4 and PC.
We also learned that Firewatch received 5 nominations in The Game Awards 2016, including better narrative and better independent gameplay.
