Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster locked at 30 FPS on PC
Square Enix recently confirmed that the PC version of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will be locked at 30 frames per second, like other RPG coming out on this platform. Additionally, the graphics options are revealed.
Announced this week, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will be available today Thursday, May 12, 2016 on PC, via the Steam download platform. This is great news for fans of the series of Square Enix who could not take advantage of these RPGs on PC.
However, a recent livestream of the editor of the game confirmed that the framerate is locked at 30 frames per second. It remains to see if the modder “Durante” will propose a solution to its GeDoSaTo tool to pass the game in 60 FPS.
Meanwhile, Square Enix has unveiled the graphics options that can be adjusted in-game. In addition to the definition or brightness, the game will be able to enjoy vertical sync (vsync), to calibrate the level of textures detail, enjoy an anisotropic filter, adjust shadows and antialiasing, or even ambient occlusion.
Finally, some boosters will be present in the game, to maximize the chances of triggering the fighting, accelerate the speed of the game, let the AI take care of the fighting, maximize consumable items or the Gils (the money of game) and unlock all skills.
