Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be Multi-Part Series
Yoshinori Kitase, producer of FFVII remake, provided some additional detail to try to unravel the mystery around the cutting of this RPG game in several episodes. Also, the size of each set is highlighted.
Revealed for the first time in 2015 after years of wild rumors, the remake of Final Fantasy VII is now particularly feared by fans. The reason? We learned that this ambitious project will be cut in the form of episodes.
Nomura, director of the remake, sought to clarify the distribution of choice, but the confusion is still quite palpable among players. Yoshinori Kitase, producer of the game, made some additional details relayed in the latest issue of Game Informer magazine.
Kitase compared the goal of FFVII remake with the structure of Final Fantasy XIII and its aftermath, pointing out that each episode will have the size of a complete set:
“It will essentially be a full scale game for each part of the multi-part series. In FFXIII, each instalment told the story from a different angle. It was kind of like approaching an unknown territory in a sense. Whereas with Final Fantasy 7 Remake, we already have a pre-existing story, so it wouldn’t really make sense if that isn’t encompassed in a multi-part series. So if we’re just looking at each of these parts, one part should be on par with the scale of one Final Fantasy 13 game.”
You’ll understand if this remake is planned in several episodes, it would rather be several games that complement each other because each all of them will offer a vast content as a complete set.
