Rumor: Fallout 76 Won’t Release Until 2019
Yesterday, Bethesda revealed a new game called Fallout 76. There are few official details at the moment, as the company only showed a small teaser for E3 2018. However, it seems that an online store has already leaked its release date, revealing that the game will be available until 2019.
The Australian store EB Games shared on Twitter an image with the launch window of Fallout 76, showing that it will be available in 2019 for Xbox One, PlayStation, and PC. Sometime later, the company deleted the tweet and placed a new one pointing out that the title has no release date, but the damage was already done. You can also check the confirmation of the release date of the title via Google Cache.
According to reports, EB Games usually places these games as TBC (To Be Confirmed) unless they have a confirmed release date. With stores leaking the information ahead of time, we should not be surprised if Bethesda confirms in E3 that Fallout 76 will arrive until 2019.
According to some reports, Fallout 76 will take the franchise in a new direction. Kotaku reported that the game will be an online RPG with elements of survival, inspired by titles like DayZ and Rust. The title will include a classic story and missions in the series, and will also emphasize shelter construction systems.
The Bethesda conference at E3 2018 will be interesting, since the company usually reveals titles that will debut a few months later. Recall that Rage 2 will be presented in the event, but it was already confirmed for 2019, and if Fallout 76 will also be available until next year, then the studio should be preparing some releases for 2018.
Bethesda will be the second company to appear at E3 2018. The event will take place on Sunday, June 10. What do you think about the release date of the title? Tell us in the comments below.
