Rumor: Fallout 76 Will Release August 1 2018, Amazon Support Confirms
Waiting to understand exactly the nature of this project during the Bethesda E3 conference that will be held on June 11th, Fallout 76 has inevitably attracted the curiosity of many, especially because it could turn out to be a spin-off founded on very special mechanics, a sort of mix between the classic Fallout with the addition of survival elements to the Rust and with an online scaffolding.
Now, according to rumor, for a short period, the date of July 31, 2018 appeared on the page of Fallout 76 on Amazon UK. Later, a support staff from Amazon confirmed that the game will release on August 1, 2018, as can be seen in the Tweet below.
It seems highly unlikely that Fallout 76 will be released in August, the most common hypothesis is that Bethesda has set the launch for next autumn (October or November) even if several independent retailers indicate a generic 2019 as a launch window for Fallout 76.
Fallout 76 should be a game strongly based on multiplayer, with survival mechanics similar to those of Rust and DayZ. According to Amazon, the game will be sold at full price (US $59) but we clarify that this aspect, as well as the launch window, could be absolutely indicative.
To learn more about Fallout 76 we just have to wait for E3 2018, the game will be one of the protagonists of the Bethesda conference scheduled for June 11.
Fallout 76 release date update!
Went from July 31st, to its 2019 placeholder, and now it’s August 1st. A viewer of mine reached out to Amazon support yesterday when the date was July 31st and they’re saying the info on the listing is correct. pic.twitter.com/dA00imV3p8
