Falcom Opens Teaser Site for The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV

In early November we learned that Falcom was already working on a new installment called The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV. No details of the project were revealed; nevertheless, the fans of the RPG saga must be excited. This is because Falcom opened a teaser site with a countdown.

Because the image is seen on the site, it is estimated that the company will reveal The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV. Also, there is a reference to Erebos, a location that we saw in the third installment of the franchise. In the link of the site “sen4” is included, that could well refer to the Japanese name of the series: The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki.

The countdown will end in 24 hours, so it is expected that tomorrow, December 20, we will get the first details of this Falcom project. It is not over-emphasized that nothing has been said yet, so the company could reveal another project not related to the aforementioned RPG series.

However, remember that the company said that the next and final installment of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel would be ready for sometime in 2018. Additionally, Falcom is working on the remastered version of the first 2 titles, which are on the way to PlayStation 4. These games will arrive in Japan in September next year.

The remasters will run at 4K and 60 fps on PlayStation 4 Pro. Also, they will include some additions, such as an improved sound section, as well as the possibility of playing at double or quadruple speed. This option will be ideal for players who already know the titles and only want to revisit them.

Last but not least, they will include cross-save with the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita originals. Are you excited about the arrival of the fourth installment of the saga? Will you play the remasters of the first installments? Let us know in the comments below.
