Former Naughty Dog Game Designer Working With Sony on A Secret Project
Quentin Cobb, the former game designer of Naughty Dog who has collaborated on projects such as The Last of Us and Uncharted 4, said he had put himself to work with Sony for a secret game. What could it be?
Posting an update on his LinkedIn page, Cobb confirmed that he was hired by Sony as a senior game designer to work on a new, unannounced project. Now he has returned to the firm to work on a top secret project, for which he cannot reveal any details. We do not know what it is, nor the identity of the studio involved in its development.
Recall that Quentin Cobb has worked in the past as a system designer for the multiplayer of The Last of Us and Uncharted 4, collaborating also in the single player sector.
According to the words of the former game designer of Naughty Dog, however, the first details of the new project will be unveiled in the future. What could it be? At the moment it is practically possible to know, but Sony fans will surely be happy with the return of a prominent figure like Cobb, ready to work on a first party title. After all, he himself declared: “It’s good to be back”.
