It was mentioned a few days ago in many news columns, Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture loomed increasingly on PC. After a few leaks, it is ultimately its studio The Chinese Room, which decided to end the rumors by confirming its upcoming release on PC. Unfortunately, no specific release date has been disclosed. The studio has only confirmed the rumor via a Tweet stating that they would not fail to keep the fans informed.
Dan Pinchbeck, the artistic director has also answered some questions at the site PCGamer, confirming at the same time that the studio had always wanted to develop the game on PC. On the other hand, the game has been pushed after them at maximum of its performance, they do not really think that they can actually improve the graphics on PCs.
He also explained that what really interests them is the possibility of adding some features, such as a visual aid for the hearing impaired or a simplified button for the disabled. The game is of course compatible with all keyboards and mouse, so the game is accessible to the greatest number. However, the studio has no plans to release the PC game compatible with the Playstation VR.
The game is already available on PS4 and therefore will be soon released on PC.
It’s been the worst-kept secret, but it’s now official… Rapture will be coming to PC! No release date yet, but we’ll keep you posted!
