Eiji Aonuma: Zelda Breath of the Wild Concludes with Champions’ Ballad DLC
With the success of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and the fact that its manager revealed several ideas for the franchise, many thought there was a possibility that the game would receive more DLC; nevertheless, the reality is very different. We say this because Eiji Aonuma, the producer of The Legend of Zelda, revealed that they are not working on more content for this title.
In an interview with Famitsu, Eiji Aonuma mentioned that with the release of The Champion’s Ballad, the development of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild ended. In other words, the creative made it clear that there are no plans to make additional content for the game that arrived on March 3 to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Wii U.
Recall that it was recently revealed that Aonuma and his team are already working on the next installment of The Legend of Zelda. With this in mind, it is easy to see why Nintendo is no longer allocating resources and ideas to a game that is already on the market and that possibly exceeded their expectations.
In other news, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been a hit with fans and critics, which is why it was named Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2017 and won the Golden Joysticks Awards. On the other hand, we also believe that you will be interested to know that there will be a marathon of The Legend of Zelda with which they seek to raise funds for charity.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is available for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Wii U. Would you have liked Nintendo to announce more downloadable content for Breath of the Wild? What did you think about the DLCs for this title? Tell us in the comments below.
