EA Sports UFC 3 will release in early 2018 on PS4 and Xbox One

During the last financial reports, Electronic Arts has confirmed that EA Sports UFC 3 will come at the end of 2018 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game has not yet been announced officially but the publisher has already established a definite launch window.

In its financial report for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2017, Electronic Arts has shared a little bit information about what they are preparing for the future. Among the releases they are planning for the coming months is EA Sports UFC 3.

As the name implies, EA Sports UFC 3 is a new mixed martial arts game officially licensed by the UFC. The game is scheduled to debut in the first quarter of next year; that is, between January and March 2018. This seems to indicate that Electronic Arts has a two-year development cycle for this franchise (EA Sports UFC came in 2014, while EA Sports UFC 2 debuted in 2016).

In the financial report, Electronic Arts has only noted that EA Sports UFC 3 will be available on consoles. While it did not specify on which console, it is easy to imagine that, at least, it will hit the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One just like its predecessors.

The third game of Electronic Arts under the license of Ultimate Fighting Championship will be due out next year, exactly two years after the publication of EA Sports UFC 2. Other details are not known at the time, the game could be officially announced during the EA Play event to be held on the Saturday before E3 in Los Angeles.
