E3 2016: Resident Evil 7 comes to PC, Xbox One and PS4 on January 24 2017, Teaser Demo available for download now

As part of the E3 2016 conference of Sony, the next major installment of the Resident Evil saga was finally announced in a new video scheduled for release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One next year. The title will use virtual reality benefits already with a playable demo and a launch date.

While we have spoken for some time, Resident Evil 7 was finally announced during the E3 2016 conference of Sony. The title of Capcom will mark the return of the franchise in the field of survival horror, the Japanese company has understood the interest that players  previously had for a game called PT.

Also, the trailer below shows a phase of gameplay within a still devastated, in subjective view, displaying the RE engine, a new graphics engine created internally. The lighting is low while visiting these places. The iconic characters of the saga are not present, marking a form of rupture for this seventh installment.

Sony said the game will be fully playable with PlayStation VR, virtual reality headset of the PS4. Additionally, a playable demo is already available on PlayStation Store, allowing us testing the trailer that was introduced to us.

Resident Evil VII also enjoys a release date: it will be available on 24 January 2017 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
