E-xpress takes gaming to underprivileged kids
E-xpress Interactive Software Pvt ltd & Games The Shop has announced one-of-a-kind gaming event – ‘Force for the Future’ organised for the underprivileged kids of Angel Xpress Foundation, an NGO that works to transform the lives of underprivileged children through regular access to educated adults in Mumbai. The event will be held at Muktanand Park, Santacruz in Mumbai on 2nd July 2016, Saturday starting from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm.
Kids will play the recently launched video game, Lego Star Wars The Force Awakens. Developed by T.T Games and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Lego Star wars is an action-adventure game that incorporates the Star Wars saga in Lego style. The game features the story based on the lines of the recently launched Star Wars The Force Awakens movie and the characters.
The event is conceptualized to bring the kids together for a gaming session which will not only add fun but also will give them a break from their regular curriculum. The event aims to transform the regular classroom into a gaming zone and other interactive team-building activities.
Speaking on the thought behind this event, Mr Amit Khemani, co-founder of e-xpress Interactive & Games The Shop said, “Everyone love playing games and kids love it even more. We have organised this event for the underprivileged kids who are deprived from enjoying the diminutive entertainment in their lives. Inspired from the Star Wars universe – May The Force Be With you, is a metaphysical and ubiquitous power in the Star Wars fictional universe which gives one a good luck in their endeavours in life. We hope this activity brings them joy and gives them a chance to experience something different”
Kids will play Lego Star wars: The Force awakens on Sony PlayStation® 4 consoles and will join the resistance by playing with the Lego characters in the game. Additionally kids will also be involved in photo sessions and will be gifted Lego merchandise.
