DOOM and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Headed To Nintendo Switch
If the arrival of Skyrim did not seem enough, you will be happy to know that Bethesda has more things prepared for Nintendo Switch. What we mean is that the hybrid console will receive ports from DOOM and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus.
In the Nintendo Direct this afternoon, Nintendo confirmed that DOOM will be released on Nintendo Switch before the end of the year. On the other hand, those who want to play Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus on the Nintendo console will have to wait until next year.
Both games use id Tech 6 and apparently, the engine in question can also run on a technically not so powerful hardware such as Nintendo.
This is undoubtedly very good news not only for the arrival of these two great games but also because the announcement proves that Switch is able to handle very recent third-party games and that the support of big companies is proving really remarkable.
At the moment there is no more information on these releases, so we have only to wait for Nintendo and Bethesda to share more information about it.
