Divinity: Original Sin 2 Coming To Xbox One This Week, Playable Free for First 3 Hours
Larian Studios is working to bring Divinity: Original Sin 2 to consoles. If you have still not enjoyed the RPG and you are an Xbox One user, there is good news for you, as you can have early access to the title starting this week.
Through a statement, Bandai Namco, the distributor of the game, confirmed that Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition will arrive on May 16 to Xbox Game Preview. Thanks to this, those interested can enjoy the first 3 hours of the RPG for free.
Players who pre-order the title for the Microsoft console will have access to the first full act, which offers approximately 20 hours of play. Larian Studios will work to improve the console version, prior to its final release in August.
“We’ve done a lot work since launch to make DIVINITY: ORIGINAL SIN 2 even better, and Xbox Game Preview will let us discover how we can improve it even further. Our hope is that with the feedback we’ll collect, D:OS 2 – Definitive Edition will become one of the best RPG experiences available across the platforms. The changes and additions in the Definitive Edition are about 45 pages long, and all owners of Divinity: Original Sin will also benefit from these,” said Swen Vincke, founder of Larian Studios.
The creative also said that this final edition of the game will come loaded with new features and adjustments. For its part, Bandai Namco confirmed that there will be more information about the game during the next edition of Xbox Inside, which will be held on May 17.
By not having a program similar to Xbox Game Preview, PlayStation 4 users will have to wait to get a look at Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition. The title will debut on both consoles sometime in August of this year.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 is currently available only on PC.
