The latest issue of the Japanese magazine V-Jump has revealed the first details of Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory, a new installment in the series coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The release of the title is currently expected by 2017, and only in the Japanese national borders.
The magazine V-Jump has announced Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory, coming in 2017 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The magazine talks about an exclusive release for Japan, so we had no information on a possible arrival in the West of the title.
Set in the same universe of Cyber Sleuth, Hacker’s Memory will make us play as Keisuke Amazawa (you can change the name of the protagonist), a boy forced to flee in the hacker world after being accused of a crime he never accomplished. Suzuhito Yasuda will have to deal again the character design of the title.
Also according to V-Jump, Hacker’s Memory will have the traditional system of the Digimon Story series, with battles of turn, DigiFarm among others. More than 320 Digimon are confirmed and Cyber Sleuth, its predecessor, will be included as a bonus title for those who acquire the new game.
Bandai Namco has finally announced that it will release a pack including both Cyber Sleuth that with the newly announced Hacker’s Memory.
Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory (PS4 / PS Vita) is the sixth title in the Digimon Story series and will hit Japanese stores in 2017.
