Destiny 2 content will be temporary exclusive for PlayStation 4

A long time ago, Sony and Activision reached a deal thanks to which PlayStation 4 users can enjoy content for games like Destiny or Call of Duty before anyone else. With Destiny 2, things will not be different, and part of their content will be a temporary exclusive for PlayStation 4.

Do you remember that recently Bungie shared the first teaser of Destiny 2? Well, Sony also uploaded it to the official YouTube channel of PlayStation, but with one small difference: before the end of the video, for a few seconds an ad appears that indicates that PlayStation 4 will have content exclusively for Destiny 2. Further down and in small print, we are told that this is a temporary exclusive that will last, at least, until fall 2018.

As an additional data, the message indicates that additional information will be available before the end of summer. So, there is still a little bit time to know all the details about the additional content that will reach the next Bungie project.

In related information, there is not much to know more about the sequel to Destiny, since its revelation trailer will be released this week. On the other hand, promotional material indicates that the game will debut on September 8 and will also have a Beta. Also, it is important to note that you will not be able to transfer your Guardian’s progress to this new title.

Destiny 2 is expected to be on the way to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but there are rumors that it will also hit PC.
