Day of the Tentacle HD Remastered Version Screenshots Released

The studio Double Fine Productions has recently released the first images of its project remastering Day of the Tentacle, one of the best point & click in the ’90s, originally signed by LucasArts. Originally released for DOS and MacOS in 1993, Day of the Tentacle stands as a point & click game of the most popular of the golden age of LucasArts. This suite to Maniac Mansion associates an interesting story with caustic humor. Tim Schafer was one of the directors of development of this title.

After proposing an excellent Grim Fandango Remastered in the last few months, Schafer and his Double Fine studio are currently preparing an HD re-release of Day of the Tentacle. Already announced last year, the return of the title track will be made early in 2016 on PC, Mac, PS4 and PS Vita.
To offer us a foretaste, the development studio has released the first set of in-game images, displaying licked graphics using sprites completely redesigned. The comparison image below also allows us to note the differences. That is what revives the flame of nostalgic from genre.
