Darksiders: Warmastered Edition delayed until November 22
If you were waiting outside end of the month to enjoy the remastered version of Darksiders for current generation consoles and PC, we have some bad news for you. THQ Nordic revealed by means of a press release that the Warmastered Edition will not arrive on October 25 as planned.
So, now you have to wait until November 22 to find Darksiders in physical and digital format for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One; the digital version for Wii U will debut that day but the disk edition will come later. Finally, those who want to enjoy it on PC, they can do so from November 29.
Like other remastered titles versions of the previous generation of consoles, Darksiders: Warmastered Edition will harness the power of the new hardware to deliver 1080p graphics and other visual effects. This edition also runs at a rate of 60 frames per second on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
One of the reasons why Darksiders: Warmastered Edition is a catchy title for many is that it will be available in exchange for $20 USD. So, for one third the cost of the most recent releases, many will play for the first time, or re-enjoy a title that was well received by critics and the public.
Although it is the title that started the franchise, Darksiders is not the first title in the series that is remastered for current generation consoles. Late last year, Darksiders II came to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC as Deathinitive Edition.
