Darksiders III, Biomutant, and More Titles Will Be Available in DRM-Free Editions on GOG
THQ Nordic announces that games like Darksiders III will not implement Denuvo and will be available at the exit even on GOG.
After acquiring the Biomutant development team and reassuring users of the normal continuation of work on the project, THQ Nordic announces another move that will make many PC players happy.
The main titles of the company coming soon on PC, or Darksiders III, Biomutant, Fade to Silence and This is the Police II, will also be published in the DRM-free version on GOG.com.
This means that once purchased, the games can be enjoyed by players without the need to switch from a client and can be copied and moved without any limitation from one computer to another. As a result, the games will also be without anti-piracy systems like Denuvo, which continues to be adopted by many publishers.
This is excellent news for the detractors of some annoying systems of protection that, in some cases, can create more problems for legitimate buyers than the users who decide to pirate the title.
Remember that all the aforementioned titles will be published later this year. Darksiders III, Biomutant, and Fade to Silence (already available in Early Access on Steam) are also expected to release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This is the Police II, as well as on the indicated platforms, will also arrive on Nintendo Switch.
