Dark Souls Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Confirmed
The Australian Xbox Store freshly highlighted the fact that the first part of Dark Souls is preparing to become backwards compatible with the Xbox One. In addition, it is indicated by a screenshot that the game may be offered due to the impending arrival of Dark Souls 3.
Released a few years ago and following a very beautiful way to the very good Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls scored good points to players because of its dark fantasy atmosphere that was very much marked, and its particularly picky gameplay.
While fans of the saga await the arrival of Dark Souls 3 on 12 April 2016 on PC and gaming consoles, we learn through the Xbox Store of Australia that the first Dark Souls will soon be added to the list of Xbox 360 backward compatible games on Xbox One.
Indeed, following the screenshot above against states that, for a limited time, all pre-order of Dark Souls 3 on Xbox One (via Microsoft’s official store) will come with a download code to get free Dark Souls game, the first episode. This code will be sent to players within 7 to 10 days after the order.
This information specifies that the Xbox 360 will soon be playable on the last console of the American manufacturer.
It remains to be seen that this is not an exclusive offer to the Australian mainland or an error on their part but the probability is minimal. Also note that the preorder of Dark Souls 3 is estimated at $99.95.
