This morning it was announced that Dark Souls Remastered is on its way to Nintendo Switch. While this thrilled many, some began to wonder about the performance that it will have on the portable console. Fortunately, Bandai Namco Entertainment took the time to reveal its resolution and frame rate per second.

On its press site, Bandai Namco Entertainment announced that Dark Souls Remastered for Switch will have a 720p resolution in portable mode, while in the docked mode it will run at 1080p. Keep in mind that the game will have a 30 frames rate per second regardless of whether you are using the Switch as a portable or if it is in the dock.

As a point of comparison, Dark Souls Remastered will run at 1080p and 60 fps on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, while on PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X it will be playable on the 4K resolution. So, players who have Switch and another platform must decide if they prefer to play at 60 fps or enjoy it anywhere.

We take advantage of the fact that we talked about Dark Souls Remastered to tell you that there will be a package that will include the complete trilogy of PS4 and other collectibles. The bad news is that it will only be available in Japan.

Dark Souls Remastered will debut on May 25 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. And what about you, on which platform do you plan to play Dark Souls Remastered? Tell us in the comments below.
