Dark Souls III Bonfire Crash Fix:

Many users have reported that Dark Souls III is crashing at Bonfires at the start of the game. To fix this issue, you need to set the “Lighting Quality” option to Low by going into the options menu in the game. If this doesn’t work, then try to start a new game with a new Knight Class character and this will prevent the game from crashing. Another solution is to take off any shield you have equipped and then try to run to the Bonfire again.

If the game still crashes, then it is best to update all your drivers, such as graphics drivers, audio drivers and keep the Windows Updated with the latest Microsoft update.
