Dark Souls 3 Opening Cinematic Trailer Unveiled
Namco Bandai has released the opening cinematic trailer of Dark Souls 3, the upcoming RPG from studio From Software bathed in dark fantasy. Immersion is again at the heart of its gameplay, highlighting the artistic care taken by the Japanese studio.
Due for release in a few months on PC and gaming consoles, Dark Souls 3 continues to reveal more about its world. The final part of the series of From Software has recently been highlighted as part of a gameplay video.
This time, the publisher Namco Bandai has released the opening cinematic of the game subtitled, to tell us some details about the plot of this episode. The Kingdom of Lothric is highlighted in the video below, displaying some formidable opponents such as Yhorm the Giant, Aldrich Saint of the Deep and Farron’s Undead Legion.
Recall that Dark Souls 3 is scheduled to launch on 12 April 2016 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Just for the record, here’s what we know about the game through some returns of Japanese players who had the opportunity to test the latest title of the From Software studio:
- The character level will be the main criterion taken into account in matchmaking.
- The coop parts will no longer be limited in time, they will end only when the character dies or after defeating a boss.
- Dark Souls 3 will offer a respawn system to infinity that will reward even the hardcore gamers.
