Conan Exiles, an open-world survival game announced for PC and Gaming Consoles

Funcom has announced a new game based on Conan: The Barbarian movie for PC and gaming consoles, communicated a few weeks ago on many news website. Titled as Conan Exiles, the new game will present an  open world survival gameplay, where players must carve their own destiny in Hyboria.

Set in the most arid regions of the fictional continent of Hyboria, Conan Exiles, which will feature a program in Early Access on PC for summer, invite users to hunt, cultivate and guarantee a future in a desolate place. As exiled, in the game we survive from multiple enemies around us, from wild animals to rival tribes, building shelters, weapons and tools. Although the multiplayer aspect is the key, its leaders have also clarified that items can be configured on private servers, and will feature a story mode to be enjoyed alone.

Joel Bylos, creative director for Funcom, has declared that “there is no better setting for an open-world survival game than the world of Conan. Hyboria is a harsh and unforgiving land where only the strongest can survive while the weak are swiftly cut down. Whether it is hunting animals for food, fighting monsters and other players, or building entire settlements, we want to make sure players feel like they are really fighting to survive and prosper in the most brutal fantasy world ever.”
