CoD: Modern Warfare Multiplayer Beta Dates; PS4 Early Access Revealed
It cannot be denied that the hype for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is high and despite some criticisms that have been made against the annual title model promoted by Activision for the franchise, the contemporary war series has sufficient recognition to grant the benefit of the doubt. Although there are still weeks left for its debut, in a few days it will be possible to try the multiplayer component in an open Beta.
Activision and Infinity Ward recently revealed the dates on which the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer Open Beta will take place, which will be available to PS4, Xbox One and PC players. In the case of the Sony console, it will be there where everything starts from September 12 under the following scheme:
- September 12 and 13 it will only be accessible for those who pre-ordered the game.
- From September 14 to 16, access will be open to all.
- From 19 to 23 access will be open to all.
- PlayStation Plus subscription required.
- The preload will begin on September 12.
On the other hand, the Open Beta of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on Xbox One and PC will take place from September 19 under the following scheme:
- September 19 and 20 there will only be accessible for those who preorder the game on Xbox One or Battle.net.
- From September 21 to 23, access will be open to all players.
- An Xbox LIVE Gold subscription or Battle.net account is required to play.
- The preload will begin before September 19.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will release on October 25 on PS4, Xbox One and PC. In other news, it was also confirmed that the game’s DLC will release first on PS4.
