Castle Crashers Remastered for Switch Will Release in September
The Behemoth announced that the remastered version of Castle Crashers, one of its most popular games, will become multiplatform. If this product interests you, you should know that its version for Nintendo Switch already has a release date.
In a blog post, The Behemoth said that Castle Crashers Remastered will be available on Nintendo Switch starting September 17. This will be the first game in the studio on a Nintendo console since Alien Hominid arrived on GameCube in 2004. So, it is a special release for the studio.
Along with this news, The Behemoth shared a fun trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M7DK1NGaxWs for Castle Crashers Remastered for Nintendo Switch. You can check its below:
But what about the PlayStation 4 version of the game? The Behemoth explained that it is still in development, but it will take a little longer to arrive. Fortunately, this port is already in the final approval process, so it seems that there is little left for us to know its arrival date.
“While we’re beyond excited to be bringing Castle Crashers to modern consoles, making that leap has come with a number of difficult development challenges. Some of these challenges took us longer than expected to work through; in fact, the PlayStation 4 version of the game is still going through it’s final approval processes, which is why we are not yet confirming it’s exact launch date,” the studio said.
Castle Crashers Remastered arrived on Xbox One in 2015 and its port for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch was announced earlier this year. One of the main attractions of this version is that it includes larger textures, and it can run at 60fps.
