The developer Sledgehammer Games, responsible for the upcoming Call of Duty: WWII, has confirmed that the shooter will have major improvements on PS4 Pro.

In an interview with the Official PlayStation Magazine in the United Kingdom, Michael Condrey, director of the studio, stressed that the power of the Sony console has allowed them to improve the technical aspect.

“The new facial system, the new animation system, the new rendering physics system, [PS4] all brings that to life,” Condrey said. “This power, you know, we’re taking full advantage of the PS4 Pro and everything it’s doing to really bring that fidelity out.”

Sledgehammer Games has not detailed what kind of specific improvements will be seen in the game, but it is expected that players can find aspects such as higher resolution in the games.

PS4 Pro will not be the only console to have technical enhancements in this new action game of Activision; it is expected that the title also has advanced in the version destined to Xbox One X, the new console of Microsoft.

Interestingly, Microsoft has already explained how the improved games will work on Xbox One X, but no official list or any special things have been detailed about this new Call of Duty which is compatible with the console, 4K resolution, and HDR explicitly.

As pointed out by some media, everything could indicate some kind of promotional exclusivity contract of Activision with Sony.

Call of Duty: WWII will be available on November 3 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. This new title will take players to revive WWII from Sledgehammer Games and Activision.
